On Sunday, May 26, 2024, I gave my very first live-streamed solo guitar recital — a performance shared directly with audiences around the world.

The entire event was captured in high-quality audio and video, and you can now watch the full recording below — simply press play below and enjoy.

For this livestream, I used a studio condenser microphone connected to a Yamaha mixing desk with natural-sounding reverb and subtle EQ adjustments, streamed via an iPad Pro (6th generation). While New Zealand broadband sometimes struggles to meet international streaming standards — resulting in a few brief audio dropouts — the overall sound quality was warmly received by viewers, who described it as natural and clear.

This concert was an exciting milestone for me. My introductions are a little more formal than usual as I found my rhythm with this new format, but I hope you enjoy the music as much as my live audience did.

The livestream was free to view on the day, and I’ve chosen to leave the full recording publicly available for now so that more people can enjoy it. If you’d like to show your support and help cover the costs of streaming, you’re welcome to make a contribution — no matter how small.
